Understand page estimates and quotas

How estimates work and how usage is counted.

How are page estimates computed?

When signed in, we compute an estimate on our servers using the same settings we use for the final PDF.

Why can the estimate differ from the final PDF?

Small differences (line breaks, certain characters) can change by a line or two. We only count pages in successfully rendered PDFs.

What if the estimate exceeds my remaining pages?

You may be asked to upgrade or shorten the text. We compare your estimate to your remaining plan pages before rendering.

How many pages can a single document use?

By default, up to 15 pages per document. You can adjust font size or margins to fit more.

How do quotas work?

Your plan includes a monthly page allowance. Pages are deducted when a PDF is rendered successfully, never at estimate time.

How do I see my remaining pages?

Sign in and open the composer. Your remaining pages appear below the editor and in the account menu.
