Capture with your phone camera

Quick tips for clear photos and smooth uploads.

  1. Step 1

    Open the composer

In the toolbar, click or tap Add Images. Choose Camera to take a photo, or Photos to pick an existing image.

  2. Step 2

Use good light and fill the frame

Avoid glare and shadows. Hold steady, align edges, and keep the page flat to reduce skew.

  3. Step 3

    Use supported image types

We support JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF, TIFF. iPhones often save HEIC/HEIF — that works. If conversion fails on your device, export to JPEG and try again.

  4. Step 4

    Mind the limits

Each image can be up to 10MB and 8,192×8,192 pixels. You can add up to 12 photos at once.

  5. Step 5

    Review extracted text

We recognize the text (OCR) for you, behind the scenes, and place it into the editor for quick fixes.

  6. Step 6

    Format and export

Click Format to choose size and style, then export a PDF that prints cleanly.

We delete uploaded images after processing.

What if my phone saves HEIC?

HEIC/HEIF images are supported. If your device fails to convert, export to JPEG (iPhone: Photos → Share → Save as JPEG).

Are PDFs supported?

No. Export a page as an image (JPEG/PNG) or take a clear photo.

How close should I hold the phone?

Fill the frame with the page, keep it flat, and avoid skew for best results.
